Dr. Belliappa M. S. with over 30+ years of experience, is presently a practising senior consultant in Department of Radiation at HCG Hospital, Bangalore and Apollo Hospital, Bangalore.
Dr. Belliappa’s areas of expertise in the treatment of benign and malignant tumors include head & neck cancers, pediatric tumors, breast tumors, gynaecological cancers, brain tumors, liver, kidney, pancreas, spinal cord and prostate cancer management. Having undergone training in several worldwide reputed cancer institutes in Long Beach Memorial Cancer Hospital, California, and then Stanford, Philadelphia the USA, his specialised skills in radiotherapy treatment of cancer include IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, CyberKnife, TomoTherapy and Brachytherapy.
Dr. Belliappa has presented and published more than 25 national and international papers and is currently involved with an NGO, which promotes cancer education in colleges in Bangalore.
Dr. Belliappa is a member of Karnataka Medical Council. He was the past President of the Association of Radiation Oncologists – Karnataka Chapter and past Secretary of the Bangalore Oncology Group.
