About the Program

Breast Cancer is treatable and most women can survive breast cancer if it is detected early enough. Therefore, education and awareness are crucial first steps.

Cancer screening packages help in looking for cancer before a person starts seeing any symptoms. The objective of screening is to find the cancer when it is still treatable.

Being aware of the signs and symptoms, self-breast examination and screening with mammogram are key for early detection of Breast Cancer.

Mitra CanCare Foundation in association with Holla Breast Centre and Lotus Diagnostic Centre, has brought together a comprehensive program to enhance awareness in Indian women and to encourage periodic screening. 

The 3-hour program will be unfurled with an Inaugural address by a Breast Cancer victor, followed by Awareness session by Dr. Soumya Holla, Senior Breast Cancer Surgeon & Director Holla Breast Centre Bengaluru. The program will conclude with sharing of inspiring journey by Veer Mitra Panel of Cancer Victors.

At the end of the program, discount coupons will be issued to the women participants to undergo Breast Cancer Screening at Lotus Diagnostic Centre(s) in Bengaluru. The coupons will be valid until 31 Oct 2022.
